Ordinal: position
Nominal: name
1.      Cardinal Number
A cardinal number is a number that says how many of something there are such as one, two, three, four, five
A cardinal number answers the question “how many?”
Examples:

·         those are five coins
·         here are five coins
It does not have fraction or decimals, as it only used for counting.

2.      Ordinal Numbers
An ordinal number is a  number that tells the position of something in a list. 1t, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th etc.
Examples:
·         Charles IV
·          In this picture the girl is 2nd

3.      Nominal Numbers
A nominal number is a number used as a name, or to identify something (not as an actual value or position)
Examples:
·         A postal code “91210”
·         A model number “380”
·         The number on the of a football player is “8”

1.      Pre-Reading activities ( 5 minutes )
a.       The teacher greets the students, for example: “Assalamualaikum/good morning, How are you today?”.
The students answer the teacher’s greeting such as “fine, how about you?”
b.      The teacher asks the students about the material last week such as “who is still remember our material last week?”
c.       The teacher leads praying before begin teaching and learning process
d.      Provides an overview of the material to be discussed.

2.      Whilst- Reading activities ( 75 minutes )
a.    Exploration
Ø  The teacher gives an overview of the expression described in the material
Ø  The teacher gives the students some good communication with the students
Ø  The teacher gives students the chance to ask difficult to material considered.
Ø  The teacher asks the students what they get from the materials




b.   Elaboration
Ø  The teacher asks the students to identify the sentences which the teacher gives about cardinal, ordinal and nominal numbers.
